Top Pick Although I haven�t had as much time to read this summer as I�d like, when I received the ARC for Fighting Fate from the publisher, the blurb immediately caught my attention. So I decided to give it a try. I like stories where tangible, real obstacles separate the characters in a love story. If there are antagonism and sparks, and vulnerable, likeable people underneath it all, it�s a perfect book, in my opinion. This book met all of these qualifications. It gripped my heart from beginning to end. Paige has suffered unbearable losses, all because of one act that Logan cannot go back and change. Both of their lives have been devastated. Both are tormented and lonely. I loved Logan. What a great guy. Just perfect for a romance hero. Fighting Fate is a sweet, wonderful romance. The sexual tension between Paige and Logan is palpable, and is topped with steam at the end.
